March 2025 Ministry Update

Arianna’s March Ministry Update

Life in Bloom!

Hi guys!

It’s the end of March! Which means another ministry wrap up. I feel like March zipped by with couple blinks (and sneezes- thank you Texas weather).

This has been such a sweet month with lots of fun events, people, and celebrations. The spring semester really does feel like a month of reaping- getting to celebrate all of the students and friends as we wrap up the semester.

I’ve been joking with everyone who I talk to that March was the month of weddings. One of the very sweet things about working with so many young people is that I get to attend lots of weddings! It’s been a blessing to see how God has worked in and through each of the couples’ whose weddings I’ve gotten to attend.

On the events side, we had two big events in the ministry this month. The first was Night of Gospel Worship- a night organized by the black student sub-ministry at UTD in celebration of Black History Month. There were over 300 people who came to worship with gospel music and celebrate worshipping the Lord with expression and joy.

We also had Family Night this month! It was such a fun thing to get to have The Grove (our large group worship service) with students and their friends and family. We actually ran out of space in the room that we meet in on campus and there were over 325 people who came! I love seeing who shows up for our students- friends, parents, grandparents, old Sunday school teachers, etc. It really is a testament that God’s transformative work in our students not only changes their lives, but entire families.

UTD’s Spring break was also in the middle of the month which meant that there was plenty of time to hang out with students who were in town. We had board game nights, played pickleball, and shared meals together. One night I took some of the girls in my core to Texas Roadhouse. A couple had never been and were introduced to the famous Texas Roadhouse unlimited rolls with cinnamon butter. Not pictured below is my face of regret after eating way too many rolls.

It’s been a fun month, and I’m reminded again and again how much of a blessing it is to live in community with students who are so on fire for God, roommates who love me and make home a sweet place to land, and coworkers who love students and God’s work on campus so much. I really can’t imagine my life any other way, and I’m praying earnestly for the lost on campus who have no community to lean on.

Just a few pictures from the month!

Thank you all so much for continuing and support me! Please be praying for the end of the semester that students would finish well and continue to trust God in everything they do, especially through the end of the semester and exam season.

I’m praying for each of you and look forward to speaking to you all soon!

Love,

Arianna
