September Ministry Update!

One of our outreach prompts on campus at Frisco was “Come Paint What Heaven is Like.” Students of all different backgrounds joined us to share what they thought heaven could look like, and it was a great way to start conversations about Jesus and what the Bible says about heaven.

Hi guys! It’s month two of my apprenticeship with FOCUS, and I am learning so much! As the semester has gone on, we’ve sort of settled into a more regular rhythm of meeting with students. My small group meets on Tuesday evenings, and we’ve had around 8-10 girls come each week. I am very excited to see what God does in each of their lives, and I’m praying that we would continue to be an outreach community, welcoming people of all different backgrounds. For our Thursday Night Fellowship (TNF), I’ve started to get more involved in setting up the sound system. I’ve never done anything with AV before, so it’s been fun to learn something helpful and spend some extra time with our staff setting up.

Our 2023-2024 student leader team (corefa team). I’ve been really blessed to get to know these students better, and I am excited to see how they grow and learn as they help lead our community throughout the year.

I’ve really been blown away by how much our students and pastors love each other and spending time with one another. Some of our students have organized a weekly volleyball hang out, and we have a consistent group who go to the Plano campus to play volleyball and invite new people to come join. These students make me so excited to continue to invite new people into what God is doing on campus. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and support!
